At the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, I worked as a Digital Content Creator/Team Reporter for the Dutch women's national team on behalf of FIFA.com. During the five weeks the tournament lasted, my responsibilities included:
The Twitter account @FIFAWWC_NED: creating content to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the tournament and the activities of the Dutch team, answering questions, promoting the live blogs.
Live blogs: In  the days leading up to a match, I would work together with a colleague Team Reporter, regularly updating a live blog on the match to come, letting fans know how both teams were preparing for the game.
Stories and articles for FIFA.com: during the tournament, I also worked together with the other Team Reporters on cooperative stories for the FIFA.com website, for instance about the key strengths and areas of concern of two teams playing eachother.
I also wrote several in-depth articles about the Dutch national team, including one about Vivianne Miedema's Olympic dream and Dominique Janssen's (formerly Bloodworth) American husband, who would be cheering for The Netherlands in the final, even though the Dutch played against his home country.
Assist FIFA.com TV Crew: On a day-to-day basis, I assisted the FIFA.com TV crew following the journey of the Dutch national team in France. This included building interview studios on location (e.g. in a hotel or stadium dressing room) and preparing interviews.
